The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
